Rally Conversion Demo

If your browser does not support Java 2 download the required
Java Runtime Environment ( JRE ) from the following link:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html
You may need to upgrade you browser ( to IE 5 and higher or Netscape 6
or higher ) before downloading Java2.
If your firewall settings don't allow Java applets, you may download demo
page with the applet in zipped format: Demo.zip
To preview your Rally Form in the Demo applet below please
execute the following instructions:
- In your VMS environment open your Rally application for edit:
RALLY EDIT YOUR_APPLICATION_NAME

In the Main menu chose 4 ( Utilities ).

In the Utilities menu chose 1 (Report).

In the "NAME OF TEXT FILE" field enter the name of the report file
(the file will be saved in your default folder).

In the "TYPE OF REPORT" field choose "ONE OBJECT".

In the "TYPE OF OBJECT" field choose "FORM/REPORT".

In the "NAME OF OBJECT" field enter the form name to be previewed.

In the "LEVEL OF DETAIL" field choose "FULL".

Leave the "SHOW CROSS REFERENCES" field blank.

Leave the "INCLUDE RELATED OBJECTS" field blank.

Use your FTP client (or any other available client ) to copy
the file from your VMS environment to your browser environment.

Copy and paste the file contents to the text area below.

Press the "Form Preview" button. In the Demo applet ( bottom window )
you will see the Rally Form preview. Press on the "XML-definition" button
to see the XML definition of the form to be used by the converted Java application
(This will be displayed in the text area below).

To try an example Rally Form Report, please click on one of the "Example" buttons.

Please be patient when waiting for the applet to start ( it's size is about 600K ).
